Roderick is a registered psychologist and a visiting lecturer in post graduate psychology at both Western Sydney University and Macquarie University. He holds qualifications in Psychology, English Literature and Public Health Law. He is a Board-Approved Supervisor of psychologists in training, Adjunct Fellow (supervision) Macquarie University, and regularly provides mentoring to colleagues.
Roderick has worked in public health, private practice and education, with a focus on substance use and men’s health. He creates a non-judgemental and compassionate space for each individual to explore current challenges.
Roderick has a special interest in working with men from the age of sixteen onwards and utilises a person-centred and evidence-based approach to assist with, but not limited to, the following presentations:
- Depression/low mood
- Substance Use
- Anxiety
- Academic/work stress
- Self-esteem and identity issues
- Gender/Sexuality
